A
serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was, over the
weekend, embarrassed by angry youths armed with clubs, sachet water and
pebbles.
The
incident, which took at Ekiugbo-Iyede community in Isoko North Local
Government Area of Delta State, started when Senator James Manager,
representing Delta South and other members of the Peoples Democratic

have not done enough to better the lot of their constituencies despite
having been in government for long.
According
to eyewitness account, stones and clubs were hurled at them amid chants
of ijii, ijii, ijii (thieves, thieves, thieves) from the furious
protesters who were carrying placards with inscriptions such as “PDP
Leaders, You are a Disappointment, Failious (sic)’ and “Stop Deceiving
Us.”
Also

Government (SSG), Comrade Ovourzorie Macaulay; Honourable Leo Ogor,
member representing Isoko in the House of Representatives; Isoko
representative in the DESOPADEC board, Mr. Joe Ogeh and Honourable Tim
