Jonathan appoints Aji as new Head of Civil Service



President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday announced the appointment of Alhaji Bukar Goni Aji as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
 
The appointment was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.
 
With this development, Aji who was until his new appointment, the Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, takes over  from Alhaji Isa Sali who will attain the mandatory retirement age of 60 on Saturday.
 
While Sali is expected to formally hand over the affairs of the office to his successor on Friday (today), Jonathan will swear in the new HOS on Monday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
